Pop Star Steal

Singer and dancer Drew Lachey looked far and wide for just the right truck. He wanted a classic pick-up that would allow him to do carpentry work and still cruise around in a certain cool and retro style. When he finally found the ‘67 Ford he wanted, it was a case of buy quickly and ask questions later. At first glance, the truck didn’t seem too bad. At second glance, it was a mess, complete with an engine that Drew could barely get started.

Singer Nick Lachey is Drew’s brother. Nick is the pop sensation who one day decided to become an Overhaulin’ insider. He brought Overhaulin’s attention to the pick-up, a truck that got the deluxe treatment from Chip Foose and the A-Team. While the ‘67 truck was being made ultra-great, Drew was pranked to the skies, dealing with the police, insurance agents and even his neighbors: friends who were “borrowing” the vehicle when it was stolen. Of course, like Nick, those neighbors were Overhaulin’ insiders. When the time came to return the truck, Nick and Chris dressed as apprehended car thieves, presented to Drew in a sting. Drew now knew he was Overhauled, and so was his now-great ‘67 truck.
