Randy’s 1969 Buick GS got the Overhaulin’ treatment, thanks to the hard and sneaky work of Randy’s pal, legendary rocker, Vince Neil. Vince played the insider as Chip and the A-Team made the Buick into a one-of-a-kind marvel. But it wasn’t easy; the pranks were major and the car was in horrible shape when it arrived at Quantum Tec-Star. The Buick had rust issues beyond belief, and the pranks scared the daylights out of the mark.

Much of the prank-work involved the fact that Randy’s dad works at a car shop where government vehicles are stored; vehicles used in law enforcement. Randy’s Buick was also stored there. A break-in into the shop (engineered by Overhaulin’) put Randy on the spot; phony feds put the heat on Randy all week: was he aware of the break-in? Was he part of it? What did he know about it? All of these questions turned poor Randy into Jello. The final prank brought Vince into play, as he hosted a video shoot where Randy arrived as a guest…with the feds on his tail! With Chris and A.J. playing part of Vince’s video crew, the cover was finally blown: Randy was wise and then brought to his Buick.
