Melissa was the mark. She’s the owner of a 1964 Malibu. Quantum Tec-Star is where Chip and the A-Team got to work on her Chevy. It’s also where Melissa’s husband Ron instigated matters as an Overhaulin’ insider. The heist was all about over due parking tickets and an impounded car. Melissa works as a teacher, concerned that huge impound fees would be more than problematic on her salary. These ‘fees’ became prank material.

As the week went on, the car became beautiful as Melissa became more and more frustrated with the traffic bureau and the impound yard dealing with her confiscated car. Once the car was finished, the final prank had Chris posing as law enforcement, telling Melissa that she is probably the victim of a scam operation. Of course, she soon found out that the scam operation in question is Overhaulin’. Being a fan of the show, she was more than thrilled as she wondered what her Malibu now looked like. All of her questions were soon answered as Chris, A.J. and Chip brought Melissa to her newly Overhauled ‘64 at Quantum. She was presented with the Malibu she had always dreamed of driving.
